Alex Aldred lives and writes in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has an MA in creative writing from Lancaster University, and is currently working towards a PhD in creative writing at the University of Edinburgh.

His fiction has previously been published in the likes of Coffin Bell, Daily Science Fiction, and the Molotov Cocktail, whilst his poetry can be found amongst the pages of In Parentheses, Cathexis Northwest, and the Cordite Poetry Review.

In his spare time he enjoys participating in and running TTRPG campaigns, rewatching old episodes of Doctor Who, and trying to remember where he left his keys. At night, his stories climb out of his laptop and play tricks on him.
